the “grazie bush” series was done in 2003 in bologna, italy. shortly before and just at the beginning of the “war on terror” in iraq. about 42 “attention roadworks” street signs got modified into “attention gravediggers” using stancil technique. thanx to centerblock and free moe

one of the great left mindet print media in italy. these guys are communists, big time.
“attention warworks- pacifistic street signs
in the pacifistc battle against the war, streetsigns had there first scene on the screen. a silent “blitz” of invisible hands changed the “attention roadworks” signs close to “porta saragozza” into anti usa manifestationes. with the help of a stencil and spray-cans the sign of working men becam sign of undertakers. to complete the message “grazie bush lavoro per tutti” the artist created a gravedigger and signed with a strange tag.”
